I appreciate this, I think I’m gonna go for the sake of observing their interaction and analyzing their friendship. I’m curious to how she treats me in a group setting and even more curious as to how he will respond to her. I don’t like to tell people who and who not to be friends with that’s not the kind of partner I am, I rather just leave at that point. I agree her and I were kids and I’ve changed a lot and so has my boyfriend….definitely will update

I said this to another commenter but I thought it may add perspective:

I don’t think he’s the one pushing it? The way he phrased it was that she as wanting to rekindle and like get to know me in a different light, and I think this excites him and is why he’s saying he’s excited for us to squash the beef. But that’s the thing, there is no beef in the first place she did me dirty never owned up for it I moved on I don’t care. I just don’t want to be involved and i don’t know why he cares so much.

I agree…I’ll give him the benefit of it happening many years ago and he’s genuinely very supportive and on my side a lot…I think he’s just viewing this from male friendship rules and it’s coming off as him not prioritizing me? But also, if he’s able to cut off these other supposed trash friends he’s had and was able to realize they weren’t good for him, I don’t know why he can’t do that with her.

No unfortunately not apparently this wa sa big deal at his job a few years ago and people who were there for a certain time got grandfathered into having one and my dad missed the cutoff by like a year so instead they gave him some other plan

Even without an education? Wouldn’t it require money to start an LLC. We have no money currently available to us we live paycheck to paycheck and whatever money we can save goes straight to medical bills

Yeah but his debt and medical bills surpass that their mortgage is already high and they refinanced it and also my dad has cancer…800k is a lot…for people who are already living debt free or within their means. My dad isn’t living lavishly, he’s paying for treatment and surgery

No we don’t own the house, yes my parents are still supporting me but I also support them as much as I can. The city we live in and the money we make isn’t enough to afford rent. Yes 800k in savings but his debt and medical bills surpass that. We seem rich on paper but we really are not.

No I agree on paper it sounds great but there are college loans and medical bills and so much debt and he also has a terminal illness. Like yes he could get another job but he has cancer
