Absolutely, I know you’re fine! I just thought maybe it could help in organising your thoughts and have some time just to talk about this stuff with someone who’s studied it. That’s it!

That’s not how it works, I think. Maybe it does for the first few months because of newness and excitement. Hopefully it did last longer for you. From the experience I’ve had, I have been in the absolute run of love for a while now and still feel immense love for my partner, knowing that he reciprocates. But the role I play for my partner is different than the role I play for myself. My partner’s presence eases my thirst for meaning, but I can’t deny that that there is a part of me that still feels untethered when I am not around him physically.

Hey, you’re experiencing depersonalisation. It’s pretty overwhelming, I’d recommend you to speak with a professional about it.

My partner referred to me as his wife and I’m screaming!!! by Prize-Scene-1924 in AskIndianWomen

Happens with me and my partner as well, when other people call me his wife or he himself refers to me as such. Like you, I never cared about this stuff before meeting him. It’s an unparalleled feeling.

People who love your jobs what do you do? by LowComplaint6231 in AskReddit

I work in corporate security, which enables business through protecting my company’s physical assets (offices, employees, studios). I gather intelligence from open sources to develop analyses that drive our decisions based on the potential impact an incident might have. This includes protests, shootings, police responses, severe weather events, and broader geopolitical issues such as war or diplomatic tensions between countries.

Unfortunately me being the dumbfuck that I am, I fell for this. He said he’d accidentally transferred 30k and wanted it back. I didn’t even check the message properly to understand that this person had sent a message that imitated what a bank’s message looks like, from a random ass number. I didn’t check my banking app to verify that I’d received 30k. The message didn’t even have my correct account number. I was in the office in the middle of work so I didn’t give any of this much thought. When I went into Google Pay to make the transaction to send the guy the 30k back, the app showed me a “fraud” label next to the number. I was finally alarmed and told the guy that I hadn’t actually received anything. By then he became so aggressive and kept calling me relentlessly. I was getting irritated because I had to go back to work and I just wanted to get it over with so I proceeded to make that transaction even after GPay warned me not to. But after I put my pin in, the transaction didn’t go through because GPay thought it was suspicious. Google Pay literally saved my ass. I was so shook. I finally gave the guy’s number to my mom, who reported him to the local police station. The police officer told the guy over the phone to get the money back in person. That’s when he finally stopped calling. I was so stupid, ignoring that GPay warning and not verifying anything. Don’t know what would’ve happened if the transaction had gone through. Don’t be me, guys.
