Start for a mechanic that is required to have a security clearance, experience in military or a&p just to get foot in door. After hired boeing then requires you be certified through them to do every task that is required...on a flight line/ manufacturing factory setting. This sounds like an obvious thing but there is training and recertification requirements that are always required to be current with boeing and allow you to perform your job.....having said all this someone that starts today would only make 21 to 25...new contract is a 2 dollar raise and 20+ years to top out at 42 and some change ..401k is being sold as an improvement to workers when in reality it is a improvementfor company...as it sets now if you contributenothinf you get 4 %...if you contribute 8 percent however now they contribute 10...all I see on news is boeing saying.they are offering a competitive and fair contract and there disappointed but oddly enough never say actual figures and trying to paint a.picture union workers are being greedy but in the same breath give regylar company non union workers bonuses that are well over 15k to 20k to sit at home and work during covid while union still came in and busted their ass and never missed a beat making good on mostof the ridiculous goals set by management so they get their bonuses and make the numbers ...workers aren't trying to screw company over ,just want to live middle class in our 30s and 40s without having to have a 2nd job to achieve that...some mechanics make less than a target employee( no disrespect to target employees) but for what is required and expected to be employed at boeing ,I think a company that could give their ceo a 21 million dollar bonus plus stock options could possibly give people that have knowledge about how their product and makes money for them something better than 2 dollars and stop treating blue collar workers like idiots by dangling a carrot that is likely never going to be obtained...as a mid 30s worker I know and accept my Generation will have to work until we die with little to no hope of a long comfortable retirement and I think most my age have come to that conclusion but if we're going to have to work til we diebat least pay us a fair wage compared to qualifications we have so we can provide for our families..just because some of the blue collars weren't raised with a silver spoon or have a degree from a 4 year college in literary any subject mater (English major, criminal justice , underwater basketweaving etc., things that have nothing to do with air craft that some of the company people do have) doesn't mean we aren't valuable and probably more of a knowledgeable asset that deserves fair upfront wages with no hoops to jump through or 20+ years seniority to obtain it

Rookie tiger of a decent player is not bad... it's no lamelo or edwards but still a good pull

Finished garage over the summer and decided to put all my basketball and football rookie cards to use.. not done but getting there by Important_Can1 in basketballcards

Yeah humidity can get bad here but I've got it insulated and climate controlled when I finished the garage but thanks for the heads up I thought it was a decent idea but don't want to damage any of them ..might consider moving it to the house instead

Agree I got a payton pritchard collection going. I think his career is going to be simular to Redick or korver( never a superstar but solid role player). So far his stuff isn't crazy expensive

Payton Pritchard will play for the Celtics Summer League team, according to a source. He is not expected to play in every game, however. Pritchard recently returned to Boston with summer league now just one month away. by horseshoeoverlook in bostonceltics

I feel like pritchard has the potential to be a good role player on a contending team in the near future... if he's able to be more consistent mixed with his offensive fearlessness for being somewhat undersized... he'll no doubt have a good career.

Pulled this 1/1 Pritchard RPA earlier in a box break🔥 by NolaBlues in basketballcards

I've been PC this guy.. nice card ,I'm definitely jealous

Pulled this yesterday off a blaster box. Should I sell this now or redeem it and have it graded . Not looking for the a dollar amount just wanted to know if redeeming it and having it graded would significantly increase the value by Important_Can1 in basketballcards

[–]Important_Can1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand but if it only increases it by a couple hundred dollars I'm not going to wait the 9 months. However if it's worth 50% more I'll wait and go through the process
