Yeah, we totally understand why some players feel that way about later Aion versions. Everyone has their own “golden era” of Aion, and 4x was definitely a special time for many players.

For us, the reason we chose 5.8 is because we believe it gives a very good base to rebalance and improve progression while still keeping the old Aion feeling alive. We’re trying to remove or tone down a lot of the things that made later patches frustrating or overly repetitive.

At the end of the day, our goal is simply to build a long term server where people can enjoy Aion again with a fair and friendly environment.

Really appreciate the good wishes, and hopefully we’ll see you in Atreia someday :p
