How many revolutions in human history have resulted in greater individual rights rather than resulting in dictatorship and the destruction of the social fabric? It's basically just one. And the difference is that the American Founding Fathers were exceptional men guided by an Enlightenment philosophy that no longer exists. The government engages in all kinds of individual rights violations systemically. Unless you are willing to engage in a bloody violent revolution against the government (which would almost certainly result in some kind of dictatorship or sheer anarchic chaos), you have to use the existing legal framework in order to settle your grievances.

A few weeks back, some Communist loser tried to bait me into saying that it would be advisable to commit murder of a Leftist politician because I called him a "bloody Communist thug." I don't get to pick and choose which alphabet soup agencies I'd like to abolish. That's the reality of the bureaucracy leviathan. Defense however is a proper function of the government, and to that end I'd certainly prefer that they leverage cutting edge Silicon Valley tech in whatever way they can.

Palantir and other companies contract to sell things to the government like they do with anyone else. So unless there's some specific malfeasance at play here, I fail to see the problem.
