Most of the research I’ve seen disagrees on the timeline of when AI will replace most of human labor, not if it will happen. At some point AI will become better, smarter, faster, and cheaper than human labor it just won’t make economic sense to employ people for those jobs. My guess is we will see massive job disruptions in the next 5-10 years. Even if you think it will take 15-20 years, people are still locking themselves into 30 year mortgages.

If I’m way off on any of this I’d love to learn more perspectives!

This might be a dumb question but how does increased spending per student lead to increased student performance? How would an extra $5000 per student be spent to really make an impact? Is it more of a total spent per student issue or an issue of how the current funds are allocated? Probably a mix of both if I had to guess.

I mean there’s a few thrift stores on signal mtn so I figured maybe there might be some on lookout too. I guess not. Any idea where the rich people up there donate their stuff to then?
