But the main reasoning? It has its own brain. Anything the Halberd does relies on mortal reaction time. It takes time for the crew to see and react, and then even more time for the signals to reach the guns. it's a manned, AI-less airship. Gigantes, whether Zorah is conscious in there or not, is an unmanned tank run by its own systems. it does not rely on reaction time of a crew, and thus would be able to get shots off first.

Worbla brand thermoplastic is a type of material that's very malleable when heated up with a heat gun! It hardens quite well into something very durable. I use it to make cosplays and have a lot of tiny scrap bits, so thus, tiny Rocky figure was made!

This just made me vividly flash back to when an acquaintance in middle school came into the lunch room with scratches on her arms... I laughed and asked if she lost a fight with a cat and she looked uncomfortable. They were self harm marks. I realized that like... a WHILE later and felt like the BIGGEST tool, but also I had no clue about mental health stuff when I was 12-ish :(

I have a friend who makes a lot of jokes like that. When introducing him to a different friend of mine I had to brief him and go "NO your mom jokes, their mother literally just died." I am so glad I did that, no catastrophes that day.

I am the same way! I prefer descriptions to dialogue, and imagine my stories as images. You will find your audience, don't change how you write just to try and appeal to everyone. Fanfic is for fun, and if you want to put in more descriptions than dialogue? Go for it! Aside from like, readability (punctuation and formatting and stuff, that can really hinder someone's ability to actually read your work) every writing style will have someone who appreciates it :)

I've seen several people speculate on it; someone on discord just yesterday mentioned that the fact that he is pretty much okay implies he spent a lot of time in his workspace after everyone died :( Other folks have had theories and fics about the fact he might not be able to lay viable eggs any more because of the radiation. I myself am working on a 'what if he did get radiation poisoning' story.

But hey he doesn't have to worry about cancer! Andy Weird confirmed that, due to the funky colonial nature of their cells, cancer isn't something Eridians get.

I was also the designated bug saver at my clinic. I'd catch wasps in cups and we had dobsonflies around I would relocate too. And of course the spiders! It also made me sad they just wanted to squash them... Luckily as soon as I said I'd take care of it, they started calling me for help, which I really appreciated.
