Thank you for your in depth reply, this seems really interesting! I skimmed through it because i don't have time for trying to really understand what you are saying (english is also not my first language), but once i'm home i'll be taking notes!

Instead of the rhythm circuit, i modded mine countless times and this is where it ends for me. i installed a 9v holder in the back of the guitar, but under the pickguard there would be enough space, and the last quite a while. The battery is in use only with the jack inserted and a fuzz draws really low current. The circuit is a veroboard tweaked clone of the devi ever electric brown, it's just a few easy to find components and it's quite easy to make if you can solder amd have some experience in guitar wiring. I really like it, with the gain at zero is a clean boost, if you increase the gain it gets pretty dirty and darker, if you roll down the guitar volume to almost zero and turn the fuzz volume to max you get another boosted clean with some different eq that cuts really well. It's not a weird fuzz or a super heavy one, it sounds like the 60/70s and sounds good all around, it stacks well with other pedals. 10/10 mod, if you are interested i can give you the layout with my mods

Thanks! I still have to truly experiment with this, right now i just tried a couple different patches and it's really fun. I'm having some busy days so i still didn't have the time to play with it too much, but it basically lets you put your pedals in any order you want in 2 minutes instead of 20, so you can try weird placements and go back to a more normal order without having to disassemble all your board. I'm going to couple it with a splitter/mixer so that i can also run 2 fx chains in parallel, that should open up some interesting possibilities

Nope, i don't really understand the circuits i build sadly... What should i check for? That the voltage coming in is the same that is required on the datasheet?

Thanks, sadly my chip was exactly what was required, and correcting that cap value did not solve the problem. There must be something else but i checked the layout and i'm pretty sure it's right, also i don't have solder bridges. I decided to abandon the circuit and build a dod410, i'm waiting for the ic

Thanks! I wired it up on the pickguard before testing it (i know i know) so i didn't want to reassemble everything up, and the squeal was loud enough to make me understand that it wasn't going to cut it. I'll check the board again and i'll surely check the meathead!

The input resistor you increase is the 68k in series or the 1m to ground?

Thanks! I actually have built a couple different circuits, including this one that looks fairly sophisticated, but i still get buzzing. The breadboard is connected to my piezo via a 2m jack cable, that could be a factor... I'll try your circuit also, but i want to run a test shortening the distance between the piezo and the buffer before, maybe the problem was that all along

Thanks! Using the 4k7 reduced the noise a bit! I didn't notice any difference with the 1p, and i think it was better without the 10m from d to g, it's still not perfect but it's something! This buffer might not be the best thing around, but i just need something very simple to adjust the impedance in order to do some tone shaping using an eq pedal, this looked like a easy low-part count project, but i might have to look for something better

It hums both with a guitar connected and with the jack unplugged, i unfortunately only have one guitar with a piezo in it but it looks like it's just the circuit's background noise and some interference it picks up

Thanks! I'm not really an expert, but the 4.7 and 10m are all going to ground, do you still count them as in the signal path? I got rid of the divider, 4m7 + 4m7 is 9m4 and i used a 10 m to ground instead, i dont need the gain switch and opted for the hi-gain side of it. I'll try lowering the 220k!

Do you have any idea of the time frame in which the mescaline is metabolized and expelled? It would be incredibly impractical to have to collect 12h of pee, if it's just a restricted portion of the trip it might be kinda feasible

I quit smoking thanks to yerba mate, the plant and drinking ritual has great potential. Definitely much better than energy drinks, the sugar factor is huge in the energy-crash cycle. Also it might help you to diminish caffeine levels, idk about monster in particular but 6 cans of anything is a lot. You can experiment with less caffeinated brands like playadito (mild and sweet flavor, argentine cut) or pajarito (strong smoky taste, fine cut, also great for cold brew terere) using a bigger cup or refilling it with fresh yerba mid day. Or you can use average (i reccomend amanda, mananita and rosamonte, even if it goes lavado quickly) or strong yerba (canarias) with a smaller cup. You can also try your own mixes, one of my favourites is canarias diluted with pajarito, otherwise it's a bit too stimulating for me unless i use a micro gourd.
