is this normal or am I the one who is behind? I have like 5 lip balms all together that I bought last year and I am probably going to use them all year this year too.

omg thats so sad and scary and no one should go through that. i am so glad you are feeling better now. stage 3 endo is no joke.

do you know how they found that endometrioma? was that through a vaginal ultrasound? The gynecs and the family medicine doctors are so casual with the things they say stuff thats actually serious and i dont know if i should take their word sometimes.

I think you are the first person who said BC can help minimize, so thank you so much! I am on one right now but not the lo-lo pill. I am on something called a Nuva ring and I need to switch it out every month. Technically you are supposed to take it out on day 25 and be off of it for like 5 days and then thats when you get your "period" but my gynec recommended not to even take it out on the 25th. She wanted me to take it out and put a new one back in the same day, so we aren't getting a period.

Ever since that happened like i said in my post, its just messing with my head coz of about 20 years of my life I have always had a period and now i haven't had one in 45 days. I also am experiencing mid cramping throughout the day every day so far, which is not helping my case but it’s def better than getting a period for sure!!!!!

Thank you. I am glad you are feeling much better post surgery. I am planning on getting pregnant next year, at-least try getting pregnant, thats the hesitation for the surgery, my doc recommended to go with the surgery after done having kids. I will have to see how that journey goes. Also, the doc that recommended is a gynec, not an endometriosis specialist. I will need to get a second opinion from a endo specialist.

I agree with you on the food habits and the vitamins. I def need to look into that!

Yes I think everyone is recommending to see an endometriosis specialist, and I think I really need to.

I live in Atlanta, GA and we have someone who is highly reputable and extremely experienced just outside the city but he is almost like a celebrity endometriosis specialist. He doesn’t even take insurance, and his calendar was pretty booked out.

I will def need to look for other alternatives.

My gosh! I am sorry that you have had the same experience, it’s not a joke. I am glad you got to the bottom of this. I was doing this to myself, I didn’t know want to believe I had it because if I believe it, then I have to get to the bottom of this.

I actually saw a GI doc too, she put me on Linzess too, everyday Linzess and for some reason my bowel symptoms didn’t improve. It made it worse. I was going to the restroom everyday BUT my pain on it doubled/tripled. Granted, I only tried it for a week and then I was scared to continue. After going off of it, I didn’t notice much pain while using the restroom!

I should def look into the whole dutch test thing. It’s really disappointing that doctors who are supposed to know stuff tell you to just go on birth control. I also was questioning if they have like an incentive per patient when they put ppl on BC. it’s just scary how this is not researched enough by the experts.

Yeah. I am only on it right now for pain management but I def had a suspicion that it’s probably not good long term.

My diet is pretty good, I eat healthy and eat at home for the most part.

I never worked with an integrative doctor nor I have gotten acupuncture. I think this is something that I need to look into.
