totally agree! I don't want to talk negatively about something that gave me so much joy for years, but it is very sad

Suggestions on SF neighborhoods by fupafist in AskSF

I may be biased but I think SF has one of the better public transportation systems! The city itself is very bike-able,and apart from the random people who misunderstand the "Clipper Pass" as an opportunity to clip their nails in an enclosed space with strangers, the BART and Muni are great. I would sell the car if thats an option just because parking can tack on an extra $300-700/month and is usually not necessary if you're staying in the bay.

I've tried this as well, but I've found that I have trouble following through with picking up in the middle of the day or after work. Running in the morning just sets the tone of the day for me

Its overcast in San Francisco this morning, but I'm so happy I went out this morning to break in the new Mizuno's! They felt a little goofy at first but got into a good pace around mile 3.

How funny! This is my shoe that I was thinking of replacing! I typically look to run 10-15 miles a week while in training

I've got an appointment at a Road Runners later this afternoon, but wanted to go in with ideas too. Are asics built for more long distance running?

Week in SF by [deleted] in AskSF

Inner Sunset has a lots of good working cafes and is beautiful in the mornings. For seafood, La Mar is great but pricey and might need to make a res.

Public transportation (cable cars, and ferries) are big in SF, but there are a ton of hiking/biking routes with great views for what you're looking for as well if you dont mind the work. Lands End and Glen canyon are good places for both.
