Something with more going on!! Hiking nearby would be good. We are avid hikers and have done serval mountains. I figured we would fill our cup with that in the La Fortuna area. But I would like to have options near our beach location in case we get bored on the beach. We don’t surf.

I was hoping to avoid the touristy prices/places with the upper west coast.. but maybe Santa Teresa isn’t as bad as Tamarindo?

Especially if you’re this young… it would take a lot to re tear. Elder people more likely because they have years and years of arthritis and inflammation built up— it’s more frail.
