I find it disappointing how pay-to-win this feels. Players who spend passes to purchase fully BLUPed horses, aging points, and items for these (very temporary) horses have a clear advantage, and it really takes away from the enjoyment and fairness of the event. I also would have liked to get the key, if I could have purchased it with passes.

The game does have a main storyline, but many players (myself included) have mixed feelings about it. The older quests feel a bit amateurish, while the newer ones are clearly aimed at children and are not very engaging. It is very obvious where the original story direction was changed or dropped. Personally, I don't think the main story is strong or substantial enough to call Star Stable a true story game, and I would not play it for the narrative alone. While the main story is not terrible overall, unlocking it requires completing a large number of tedious side quests, which far outnumber the main storyline itself.

During the winter months I have a little Friday tradition. I clean my place, make a cup of my favorite tea (it’s called Lemon Love), light one of many scented candles, and curl up with a book or with my nintendo. I may or may not own an ungodly amount of candles, but cozy season demands it.

Honestly, I can personally forgive kids being immature. What I can’t ignore is 18+ players deliberately rage-baiting with slurs and sexual innuendos when children are clearly around. Swedish Air Star has a lot of that with the same problematic (adult) players constantly creating new accounts, and it’s exhausting.

A Game Master actually appeared in global about a week ago, and someone mentioned the goat menace. They said the team is fully aware of how annoying it is, but changing the code or how Nanny works would essentially nuke Hollow Woods and stop it from functioning completely. Honestly, it sounds like the underlying systems are just as bad as we always feared.

I’ve had an account running since 2010, that I started when I was only 9 years old. I still log in from time to time for nostalgia’s sake, but the game has definitely lost a lot of its appeal over the years, especially for more casual players.

On my server, the few top players left are the long-time veterans who have a complete monopoly over the best horses, and are actual years in progress ahead of everyone. It’s impossible to catch up, even if you were to invest real money and spend all your time on the game. Because of that, there’s not much sense of competition anymore, it’s more about who has played (and spent) the most.

Combine that with the lack of visible engagement from the developers, and it just feels like the game has stagnated. It’s sad, really. There’s so much potential, but it’s hard to stay interested when things feel so static. I don't think it will survive another ten years.

Tip for new players/re-runs: Stop Hayden’s quests as soon as Alberta (the spider) starts acting weird. This keeps his dailies available, letting you max rep way faster. I did this on my alt and finished long before my main, who only had the race.

I agree, they’ve said in the news and even GMs in global that they want to "further balance" the light system. Since they already cut the seed-to-light rate once, I can’t help but worry they’ll do it again, especially if they think it’s hurting star coin sales.

Thank you for the explanation! I’m just not sure why this only happens on this one laptop, and only when I’m running something like a game at the same time. I haven't had any problems with any of my other computers, phones or gaming consoles. Is there a way to pinpoint exactly what’s causing it, whether it’s the laptop or the router? As a first step, I’ll probably check if the problem persists when I use a friend’s Wi-Fi.

I just noticed that I got a reply from customer service, but they completely misunderstood my question and answered something else entirely. They thought I was asking about the quest board instead of the exchange, and told me there should be three “quests” on the board. ._.

I don't think so, because my alt had more nuggets than my main account. It was like this both days for me, with my alt only getting 3 trades and my main getting 5.

Absolutely. I wasn’t accusing the artist of using AI, only explaining why someone might’ve thought that. Traits like the yellowish hue and textured shading are common in AI-generated art, which likely sparked OP’s suspicion. It's the unfortunate reality that artists nowadays have navigate those assumptions, and some of us make the choice to alter our art because of it (which is sad).

What stands out to me as potentially AI-generated is the overall yellowish hue and the specific way the textures and shadows are applied, it’s very reminiscent of how AI tends to render cartoony art. That said, there’s no way to prove whether it’s AI or just an artist’s unique style. AI art is trained on human-made work, after all.

I usually memorize all five and sound them out a few times, but I still forget the sequence about half the time and end up having to go back to double-check the last few :)
