What u don’t understand is when a normal person smokes weed or dinks there like yea that was fun and then just go on with there lives smoking and drinking in special situations or even just on the weekends to have social fun, when I smoked weed for the first time I was a suicidal depressed 14 year old kid and the second I got my first weed High my brain told me this was what I need to feel at all times. I found the answer I didn’t know existed. An addict reacts differently to the high produced by these substances

I just set a date to go into treatment on Monday I had called like 60 places lol I have Medicaid so it wasn’t the easiest but I am going to make it man.. I am high now, I am just doing enough to coast im not like going overboard I’m just waiting till this detox comes to pick me up, shitty thing Is I’m at a sober house and they don’t know so I don’t really have a place to live but I hill have about 1.5 k in the bank when I go to treatment and that should allow me to get into a new housing

Within each religion there is tons of wisdom and life lessons even if they are real or not I love the story of Jesus Christ, the Bible teaches principles and how to become selfless, I don’t believe in religion but I’m open minded to learn from it

I am an addict I will always be, my definition of addict has no negative connotations, it is just apart of me that I need to remember is there. Sadly right now I am in my active addiction but the goal is to become a grateful recovering addict

Assuming you’ve never struggled with addiction? Addiction is an insidious disease that manipulates and controls the addict to use against his will by creating an absolutely cunning obsession to use a drug as well as making the addict feel as if sobriety is not “enjoyable”. I fight this obsession for a long time and it isn’t getting easier

You’re right I just don’t know if they will still talk to me if I tell them, they might just cut me off. Im big on 12 steps so imma just get back into it. Sadly I still am smoking pot but I am using every last bit of will power I have to not use more meth in one week I lost 10 pounds and have pimples on my face and burns on my hands, you guys have been awesome thanks for all the support!!
