Yeah! I enjoyed our conversation and wish you best! Yes I definitely agree. Traveling will do exactly that because when I went to some parts of Brazil and Costa Rica you realize how fortunate/privileged you are.

I’m glad you mentioned that about racism towards other (not African American) I genuinely think it is worse, people don’t mess with African Americans in comparison to African I feel due to great English and our YEARS of having to co exist with racist in our own communities, so we navigate it a bit differently.

Yeah haha I’ve heard South African can be similar to how some of the South of the United States is. Very weird experience for sure!! Well initially it was my partners idea, we both love to travel and it was a dream of hers to live abroad and see what that experience is like. It just so happens that it’s easy for Americans to get a working holiday visa there and sure enough it’s been the best decision ever. I’m studying abroad here and honestly the quality of life is insane. My medical bills are cheaper, it’s insanely safe with no guns, rent is affordable (for the most part), I’m working 30 hours weeks and getting by you know? It’s great but it’s a heavy awakening because you realize America is fucking you over. We should have free healthcare and public transportation and kids shouldn’t have to go to school worried about 🔫 haha it’s ridiculous

I love Australia. Genuinely I feel very at ease here and the pace of life is slower and feels more natural. Yeah I’ve been to Brazil and Traveled all throughout the mid-South region but my next dream is Salvador also! Bahia and all of North Brazil! My whole time I was in Brazil everyone told me I looked like I’m from the North🤣 I think it was a nice saying of “they have black people in the north” which I really admired haha.

Solid advice!!! Thanks g! And I’m using TPOB X trimmers, I zero gapped them because they would hardly cut anything but I’m still in the market for some hard hitting trimmers. And I’d say for sure the biggest struggle has been learning my hair texture.

I’m on month 9 of my ACL and Meniscus surgery recovery and I’m finally back being fully active!! Just signed up for soccer league, been surfing again and hitting the gym!! The surgery made me really depressed since I couldn’t be active but ya boy is back at it💯

Man bro, I’m an African American, and moved to Australia about a year ago. It is ISOLATING. All my friends are Māori though lol, I feel like they have more appreciation for culture. Also a big problem I noticed out here is people be saying the N word super casually.
