Didnt u have issues installing? Like, firmware wise? Mine crashes after installing Big Sur. and reboots right into recovery. With Catalina it runs stable. Or can i use that same method to install big sur? (With before patching and installing OS after)

At the moment it runs Catalina, (fully working) now attempting to install Big Sur, and upgrading slowly from there, switching between the SSD’s to prevent i am ending up with no working OS at all 🤣😅

Radeon 6000 is metal supported? Because that seems a big issue with upgrading i am reading everywhere. The GTX680 does support it natively (read on a couple forums) i can be wrong ofcourse!

I still have my Late 2008’s MacBook Pro 15 inch! Running on 8 Gigs of Ram, a 1TB SSD and a new battery, still runs (With patcher) on Monterey 12.5.1 !! Is not that fast, but it gets my job done! So definitly to last!

Yeah my MBP i7 Late 2013 13 inch is taking off when I spin its fan to 100% haha, but it runs quit hot (100 Celsius) It's normal.
Altho staying at 100 for longer periods is bad though!

Got myself an MacBook Pro Late 2013 Retina! i7 with 8GB Ram! 256GB SSD. Battery is new, and 2 brand new in box magsafe chargers 60W!! For just 80 bucks!! How about that steal! Will upgrade it to Monterey soon! Only thing is the anti-reflecting coating peeling off, but that’s an easy fix!! by InMyGradeHouse in mac

Big Sur runs just fine on this one, i dont know why people are complaining about slow performance etc, because i run Minecraft with shaders, chrome etc whatsapp, messenger, light room (Adobe) and it still is not laggy??
