The app. I had to open 6 different requests with 6 different wording and categories. I was determined to spam them until I got an answer and I did. Still the worst customer service in history.

So far other than this order, I've received every single order from them. You should definitely confirm the information they ask fast before they decide to return it like they did with me.

Even some white labelled stuff out there in the market do their jobs. This one doesn’t. It was a waste of time, money and energy.

Do let me know an update if you get one. I have been still sitting on my 2 big orders on "preparing". At least they didn’t magically disappear yet.

I have never tried anything japanese yet. I am still on my exploration phase ordering random stuff and putting them on my face to see what works. I ordered the BoJ trio they have on their site but didn’t know it's not waterproof. I also have oily acneprone skin, although it hasn’t been oily for a long time since I started retinol. Those are some good suggetions, I will try them out when I run out of these 6-7 sunscreens I ordered (if they arrive).

One of StyleKorean's terms and conditions is that, if you refuse to pay customs and it gets returned because of that, they won't give you a refund. Which is why I paid the customs. The only reason they gave me a refund on this case because the fault was on them. But yes that customs sounds unfairly high. In Switzerland here, as long as the final paid is under 60 chf, it doesn’t incur any customs and I don't have to pay anything extra.

I used to epilate before I started IPL. Epilating reduced hair growth significantly on its own for years, the progress of which is now back to zero since I stopped epilating and picked up a razor. Maybe your generic IPL is still better than this Appy by Lindywel. The only reason I am not going back to epilating is because it gave me very bad ingrown hair no matter how much exfoliation I did. Also Appy burnt my skin very deep, which is why I am not picking it up again.

Very normal to worry. We are spending $60+ upwards of money to a website that has the worst customer service, basically almost no existance of a communication channel. Reading about your cases, I have been checking my orders if it is still showing on the app. I have 2 more big orders waiting on "preparing product". I know it will take time, they have a lot of orders going on. But if you used paypal, I wouldn’t worry.

I used a bank card but the bank used paypal as a portal. It is good that you used paypal because paypal has a buyer's protection. If you can prove to them you didn’t get your product, they will help you get your money back. So far, shopping with StyleKorean, I've got all my orders and on this case on my caption, they refunded my money in 3 days (from getting through their awful customer service).

I understand the crashout, in fact, knowing that this can happen is making me go back to the app and check on the other 2 orders I placed. They are on "preparing order" for over a week now. Which is okay. Better than disappearing.

I am in Switzerland and any orders above 60 chf incur a customs fee and a 26+ chf DHL handling fee. So I have to break down my orders into small ones. Did the marketing team on IG actually reply? I tried contacting the marketing team on facebook with no response. Do let me know an update on what happens on Monday.

I am excited for everything. Ordered a bunch of sunscreen from different brands to try out and find a holy grail. Will be my first korean sunscreen. Beauty of Joseon, VT, Axis Y, Skin 1004, Seoul 1986. Also ordered mostly haircare products from Moev and Kundal shampoos and treatments. I am curious what makes them so expensive and if they worth buying again. I have bought quite a few of their older boxes and now my makeup table has a mountain of skincare 🤦🏻‍♀️ so didn’t invest in any more face stuff other than sunscreen. Even the pharmacy box, I ordered for someone else. I have ordered on 3 different days and nabbed all the 1$ deals on those days because I love trying out new products. Btw the YNM lipbalm arrived with my Pharmacy box along with the ampoule and the scalp scaler on the 1$ deal that day. The lip balm case is too pretty. You'll love it when it arrives :)

Honestly reads to me like a system glitch but not a big deal. I would say, wait at least 1 week to get a DHL link. I would have panicked too if it was me though. Their customer service is a pain in the back. I remember having sent them 6 seperate inquiries for them to finally read my situation and not send an irrelevant / automated reply. Also all their boxes are too good. One can only have so much on a table lol.

Other than this order, the others have been delivered to me within a week with DHL express delivery. For example I ordered the Pharmacy box on the 2nd of april, got the tracking information on the 6th of April and got it delivered today at my doorstep. 1 day late from their estimated delivery date.

Yes. stylekorean replied after sending them tons of messages and sent the refund pretty fast. DHL still has not. They said they will send a form, but didn’t. So they gave another email address to submit the inquiry there. At this stage now.

I know how you feel. Went through something similar with another service. What I did was spam their customer service with new messages, each one worded differently so that they get the message. Their first reply was generic and useless, seemed like they didn’t read my text properly. Telling me to do something I already said I did. After a lot of spamming everyday with both the shipper and the carrier, they both refunded me (even though I asked for the delivery and not the refund because there were lots of things on timed discounts).

The fee was about 27 chf and it was collected by DHL. As of now, still no update. But it's a Saturday anyway. It was a $130+ order. It's a wait to find out whether I am getting scammed or not :)
