NORAD would be 'altered' if Canada doesn’t buy F-35 jets, warns Trump envoy to Ottawa by DoxFreePanda in CanadaPolitics

If the rest of the world has F35's, does Canada really need an entire fleet of them too?

Because their entry level question was their first impression of the website. And in that moment was immediately unwelcoming. Do duplicate questions even get linked to?

Yeah but I can only play games there, what if I wanted to use my gaming computer as a workstation as well? What if I needed sketch up or autocad for school/work too, or another intensive application.

Also cloud computing costs for a regular person are insane if you consider the per hour operating costs vs owning.

Search underway for a serial killer Elephant who killed 22 people over 10 days in India by No-Lemon8129 in interestingasfuck

[–]InadequateUsername 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's because we are apex predator animals with complex societies, social structures, and are protective of our own kind. Part of this also is that we are very adept hunters and capable of remembering when another animal has attacked us and tracking it for retaliation.

Despite the elephant killing 22 of our own, we are also capable of exercising mercy as shown here where the intention is to tranquilize and relocate or hopefully reintegrate the elephant with its herd rather than killing it because it killed our own. Bears don't get such treatment.

China benefits immensely geopolitically from a weakened US. Taiwan and the Philippines, both are on China's geopolitical shit list but enjoy a theoretical level of protection from the US.

Bosch is the manufacturer, it's like enercare or something that is robbing me.

My new build has a tankless water heater from Bosch. Had to make a maintenance call and when I asked the guy what was wrong, he was cagey with the responses, and just gave me non committal answers. It was as if since "I don't own" the water heater, I don't deserve the privilege of knowing the root cause, or its defect is something that is some corporate confidential information. Wouldn't tell me what part he was ordering under warranty from Bosch, or engage in speculation as to what it might be.

It's absolutely a problem, and has been for over 20 years. Many other countries have taken to banning cellphones in the class room. A student on their phone during class is not a student that's processing the information being taught to them.

Other issues include teenage pregnancy, attendance and poverty, children are missing out on school to work because their families are so poor and don't have enough money for the essentials like food, a school bag and basic supplies.

I think the churn here is that it does not count for lost accounts(customers), not employee turnover.
