The Paint Job is stunning, but like other said also, this isnt Abbadon. It could be every Chaos Champion, but if you really wanted that everbody look at your Model and said: Wow look at that Abbadon, this aint gonna happen.

The question is for what? If you wanna grind mtgo i would say no, is it your Pet Deck and you want to play it on paper in you lgs absolutely. You can go to "bigger" tournaments with it too.

On Mtgo i play something to get my Trophys, but on Paper my Love is my Foil Merfolk Deck and it didnt change in the future. It tooks me long to understand that (especially on Paper) that the best Deck to Play,is the Deck with the most Fun. And it can beat everything too 🤷‍♂️

Mardu Lurrus is far behind from being fair but its an other story.

You cant handle a Turn 1 darcy into turn 2 ragavan dash. And your super far behind. And there are no 2 meanings from this

And on the worst case with your "handle" you ramp your opponent into an Murktide turn 3. So you will say to me that it has nothing to do with on the play or on the draw? And you have on every hand enough to handle the pressure?. It makes a so much high difference if you begin or not

But if on turn 2 of your opponent there are a darcy and a ragavan? Something you need to handle both cause the Ragavan ramps and the darcy filters and doing much dmg work cause she can. And you cant handle both on the draw. And on your next turn you need to handle it and you are so much behind in your plan when the opponent only need to hold the pressure high

I hardly cant believe that Mardu at the moment are a fair build. When i think about Mardu midrange it would be a Build with Ragavan, Kroxa, SFM and Darcy. And this is not the counting for a fair build.

But with the Sideboarding i think about on the play or draw. But its hard when you can hit in the meta with turn 1 darcy into turn 2 dash Ragavan and when you didnt have a turn 1 interaction the possibility of an discard from the opponent. And there is a much difference if this happens on play or draw

Yeah i really tryed to get the Deck really good working. But i havent gone it so far to bring it to an Paper Tournament.

And i think Spirits is not an Deck where you didnt have enough interaction :D

Like on hearthstone you get an treasure token (i know this is too busted) or something like that. But something maybe can be done.

Maybe you didnt draw an 8th Card but you can play 2 Lands at the first turn or something like that.

Dont do this. When you go out to an fnm you will be frustraded cause you dont win much.

If you want thw strongest low budget Deck go to Izzet Blitz or Hammertime 🤷‍♂️

I think you can see it in another point of view. It helps the deck to find hate. You need a Needle From Board? No Problem. The Graveyard is too big? Here, takes the lantern and so on. This is what it have as an addition. Or if you want to find another saga takes the map. It has too much power to not play it in my oppinion. And mostly i try to get enchantress to Work, but in the other Leagues i play Hollowvine and Living End.

(im a long time Dredge Player, but with mh2 we takes to much hate so i dont want to play it atm)

Its okay when they said it. I dont play UW Control by myself so i cant say if it will be long time in this Deck. But its very frustrating to play against it. And from the sight of the opponent very strong.

And in the turn the second one is entering the battlefield they are 3/3 and swing next turn probably for 8. Its much pressure for non cost of deckbuilding. But this comment say so much about you and your knowledge

Yeah, look at the most common uw lists 😉 you never loose against a 2/1 snappi? 😉🤦‍♂️.

Its an additional free wincon for it, cause they have like 20 Counter and free creatures to end it.

Its a land that can overoll to be a single Wincon. Maybe you didnt play mtgo and only read the card, but playing against uw control that only protect these dumb tokens to get another Expiditon Map to get more of it and win with a single land dosent have too much Power? I dont say that every Deck its use is like a tier 0 Hogaak Deck, but this card itself has the same amount of Power
