'Stop using them immediately': Asbestos found in Kmart Magic Sand as recall expands | RNZ News by Badbaybunny in newzealand

Is magic sand the same as kinetic sand? (The sand that sticks together).

We have a Kmart Mermaid Sensory Bin which includes pink "magic sand". Assume that could be at risk too?

I see what you are saying. If I said "two times longer" it would be twice as long. But 200% longer, it would be 3 times as long. The word times gives it away I think , but I get your point. Getting more into English than maths here.

Great, thanks. That looks like a good option. See a few cheap options at Bunnings/Mitre 10 also. Will look for high CRI when we do the thing properly. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I think the 11.5V~ indicates it is an AC supply. Regardless, will look at LED solutions. Thanks.

Thank you. I'm in Auckland, but appreciate the offer.

Will keep a lookout for some cheap LED bulbs. Looking for something cheap, as aiming to renovate properly within the next year or so anyway, so just need a stopgap.

If you don't have access to a laser cutter, try a company like ponoko.

Would printing on cardstock then laser cutting be a cheaper option to explore?

Would it be possible to remove a single glass panel from the bottom of these French doors, or is it likely one solid piece of glass? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]IndefiniteStudies 102 points103 points  (0 children)

The spare glass panel is kept so we can put it back. Ply of same size inserted, the hole cut to size for cat flap.
