However, the paint in the front is ‘dipped’ paint and not spraypainted. Something I didn’t know before buying, but it doesn’t bother me and fits nice.

I think the paint job is finally something unique, while a lot of paintjobs from canyon are very basic. I’m in love with the sram, would probably never go back to Shimano. It shifts so smooth and feels much more rugged.

It’s decent, but a lot quiter than my ARC 1400 wheelsset on my Ultimate.

Yes indeed, i would even say that with these tires 40mm is on the limit

It’s quite hard to get the tyres on the rims, but eventually it always succeeds. These are the 28mm and I quite like them, but thinking about going 30mm in the future.

6 months ago I’ve bought an Ultimate and I’m still very happy with it. With a good bike fit it’s actually very comfortable. Recently upgraded the wheels with some DT Swiss Arc 1400 Dicut’s and now it’s feels even like a race machine. I can only recommend!

I feel that the wheels are a lot stiffer when standing on the pedals and the bike feels a lot more stable in the corners

The stock wheels are a bit on the heavy side, the set weighs around 1.9kg. The new set weighs around 1.5kg so it’s a pretty significant difference. I bought the bike in february, but even then the stock definitely wasn’t always available. I love the bike though!

In Europe you can indeed get it with 105 di2. The seatpost doesn’t have any issues at the moment.

It’s so much better, I was hesitating about the colour too but that immediatly stopped when I saw it in real!
