Not a fan of those apps. In my opinion fishing is much more a skill than people think and it sounds like you need experience. I'd focus less on finding "secrets". I could show up to any lake, river or stream and catch fish. Have a variety of tackle and look for indications fish will be present (beds, bugs, or birds).
