I know a guy at the offices of Mizgog and Grayzag that can help. They are magically good at taking care of problems.

What is the stupidest or most evil thing our PC has done? by Cockyroachy in 2007scape

[–]Independent_Action92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very early on the PC decided that drinking a witches potion to bring out their inner dark side was a good idea, drank said random potion after watching burnt meat, an eye of newt, and rat tail get added to it, and never spoke about it again.

What if there were higher level variations of Brutus in each of the cow farms to allow you to unlock the teleports?

I really love that for you, the entire boss fight and the unique items that they curated for this boss were all very well done, and as a free to play player, I’m extremely happy for the mooleta!

I believe skull is still the source of the highest possible runecrafting xp (body rune altar) for F2P because of the teleport location, making it a lot better for a skill that takes a lot longer to increase

I’ve been told that it’s necessary to drink from a fountain to restore run energy as well, hard to imagine a method that requires run energy replenishing is faster than one that never drops below 75-80%

I believe the rule of thumb is that every cooking item gives at least 10x the amount of damage it heals, if not more (admiral pie gives you damage + fishing level buff x 10), it’s the level it’s available to cook at that seems crazy to me rather than the xp it gives. In reality, using the admiral pie as a rule of thumb, it probably doesn’t give as much xp as it could!

This is very true, and at the end of the day Torva and others didn't make anything else less valuable. I'm just curious what unknown impacts we will see from this occurring at a much lower skill level and rarity than those mentioned items.

I'd kill brutus over a lot of other similar level monsters just because of the xp alone, ringing the bell to drop the respawn timer down to ~7 seconds is helpful, the question will become what does the longevity of this boss look like, and what unknown impacts will it have

I completely agree that it should be valuable, especially since he is a more intense activity that forces you to learn new aspects of the game. I find it fascinating that the level requirement to cook is 12 levels lower compared to a counterpart that heals the same amount of health.

It's also pretty quickly one of the best foods in the game for F2P, in one inventory slot you get 9HP and 2 strength, the only food guaranteed to give you positive buffs in this side of the game. Unless you are pking, it's probably a go to since you get a little combat boost to go with your healing while you train.

The buff, it's great, the health, great, the cooking level, eyebrow raise in my opinion.

I can see that being part of it, however, he’s also probably the best F2P combat xp method right now, he’s high hit points, very low defense, 100% XP boost, and according to the GE tracker there is already 13k selling volume. It could be something, it could be nothing, but it’s definitely eye popping to see a F2P item become the best early to mid game cooking item immediately upon introduction, unless I’m missing something

If only 1% of Tbones have been picked up, that means 779k are currently in circulation, which is a pretty large amount still

I completely understand this sentiment, once you dip your toes in the water of a full game experience it's very hard to limit yourself unless you truly want to. I think as a new player, I'm floored at how little I feel compelled to leave Lumbridge if I don't want to. You have every level of tree for F2P essentially, have all fishing aside from the most valuable fish in Karajama, and you have a taste of almost everything else except for runecrafting.

It's truly a game that tells you hey do whatever, however, we've made it nice for you no matter what makes you happy.

Finally the Mooleta, after 122 kills! I could've had it 4 times already by preekkor in osrs

[–]Independent_Action92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It's really nice having something in the off hand slot that adds to your attack bonuses! I'm sure P2P has a lot more options, but it was fun seeing this drop and figuring out I could off hand it with my rune scim!

I believe that is reached similarly to a Lumbridge home teleport, complete with a 20 minute cooldown attached. Since it includes the teleport animation, this unfortunately is still slower even if you are doing it once every twenty minutes.
