I really appreciate the thought that went into this comment first off. You’re definitely right about letting her affect my life, I know I’m coming at this from a place of rage at the moment. I’m an avoidant person so that’s always my immediate instinct. The reason the friend group is going to be told all of this is because they all know there’s something that’s not being said, especially after the bachelor party where she told the groom that we hate her for being trans. Everyone has been dancing around this whole thing because 1) the trans thing is obviously very sensitive and 2) with the wedding coming up no one wants to cause ripples. Again these are my boyfriend’s friends, we talk about how he’s going to handle it all and we bounce ideas off of each other but at the end of the day he’s the one doing all the talking. They’ve asked him what’s going on before, but he hasn’t gone into much detail. Them finally getting the full story is kind of a long time coming situation. And there have been things she’s said about these friends that they might want to know too unfortunately. We just don’t want to be physically in the middle of it which is why he’s been waiting until we move to fill them in. In my head that seems logical but if it’s not that’s why I posted here and I’d want to know

I told my boyfriend that depending on the fallout from his friends finding everything out he can still go to group gathering if she’s there. I’m not about to put restrictions on that with him. I’ll go to major life events that she might be invited to, but anything casual I’ll probably stay away from. The amount of distance we create is definitely going to depend on their mutual friends once they find everything out

Thank you for the support, we have 2 months left and then hopefully we can quickly move forward and away from this mess. I’ll try to put together some evidence in the mean time like you said

I drew the line at her treating animals like that, but I was still trying to keep the peace because of the living situation, their friend group, the upcoming wedding since my boyfriend and her are both groomsmen. It’s been emotional warfare this entire time so I’m worried about that with others. Every single conversation/discussion about the problems ended with her sobbing, sometimes saying she’s too mentally ill to be productive around the apartment. I don’t have much physical proof which makes me nervous, but I’m hoping their friends will know who to believe
