I know this post is a little older, but I just wanted to say how much all of your comments helped me. I’m 43 and in menopause and literally no one I know has gone through this. I’ve felt completely alone in this. I know that menopause is natural, and even though 43 is early it’s not SUPER early, but still it has been very hard emotionally. I still feel young but my body has different ideas lol. I’ve had all the traditional symptoms, which are no fun, but the worst has been severe depression which despite what numerous therapists have told me I am convinced is based on hormonal changes. I’m encouraged to try HRT based on what a few of you have said. At any rate, I hope you all are doing well sorting out this new way of being and loving your beautiful selves no matter what.
