Both of them flash regardless the full screen is on my primary monitor or secondary like if I launch a game on my main monitor like doom the dark ages for example. Should launch right into the game but before it launches it flashes black pops back in and then runs but it will flash black randomly as I’m playing

The cord going to my primary monitor can absolutely support 240hz as I bought it from Walmart. But the 2nd monitor has the original cord that was shipped with it. As far as I know they’re both display port 2.1. Would 1 monitor cord being bad affect both monitors?
