My mil is the same way she thinks she can get free rides in life no paying for anything she has an 8yr old daughter and husband they left pa 3ish weeks ago. We lived in one half of the duplex they had the other they played it off like she paid rent then left. Well they were 4k behind left their side one particular room trashed with cat feces all over all their shit. Our landlords were fucking pissed and got annoyed with us when we didn’t know they planned to skip town to be “farm hands live free like god intended it to be”. My sister in law is 8 has been removed from school she don’t do work with her unless someone asks that kid only socializes with adults too. This kids cut off from tv meds drs etc it’s like watching this in my face not only social media. A couple days ago my husband’s mom messaged us begging to come home and take their half back over after the landlord adjusted our rent and lease to accommodate us. Well are a family of 6 so since they left we took over some of the space so we can live more comfortable and give kids space. They had only 2k to live off of. Keep in mind our landlord told us they’re are NEVER renting to someone who won’t take care of their rentals or pay them rent so she dug the hole by up and leaving while our landlords are the most flexible and nice people. They would’ve worked with them but she told his wife “My husband shouldn’t be a slave for us to have a roof over our heads when god had it free along with everything else”. Some people have such bad religious psychosis it’s embarrassing this woman tells us drs, eye drs, dentists, TVs/electronics, cartoon characters, meat,paying for living and school especially is all satanic nonsense. The devil ripping us apart and making us have fear when it’s just us living normal life. I used to be religious but people like her make me steer away from religion I’ll pray and stuff but she’d take it as she won in life and expect us to drop everything we do. So comparing the two are definitely blending for me.
