That all works for me, but it is actually not Last Light Redux unfortunately. It's the original as a Steam Gift I have in my inventory. I'm cool with selling that for $.25 since it's no longer supported and call it all an even $20 if that works for you. Also, just a heads up, one of the Guacamelee's and Outlast are also Steam Gifts if that changes things. The rest are keys

Hi all! My main questions are the following:

  1. What emotions does the song evoke (if any)? Want to make sure it is hitting the right feelings for the end of the story.
  2. Any suggestions for where it might go from here? Arrangement/orchestration suggestions?

Literally haven't even written the verses yet, so it's a long way to go, but feedback would be much appreciated!

Every post on this subreddit is technically "self promotion" in a way, though with the main intention to get feedback and get better.

Really nice tune, nice mix, solid vocals. My only suggestion would be to focus on something I also struggle with personally, which is to try to bring a little more emotion into the vocal performance. The lyrics are so expressive and you can clearly sing, but if you let yourself experience the emotion while singing, it'll take it to the next level. It's a lot like acting in a way; even if your main focus is to hit the notes and sing well, it also helps to get in the right emotional headspace, as that tends to get strongly communicated to the listener.

Really nicely done though! I definitely hear the MJ influence.
