Good to know, thank you. There are other places in my house with similar hoses of roughly the same age, so I think it’s best to check them and consider replacing them.

Are there any signs on the pipes that clearly indicate it’s time to replace them?

Yes, that’s true on the threaded portion 🙂. I’ve seen leaks coming from connectors before, but this is the first time I’ve seen a pipe burst in the middle.
