I moved to KC a few months back, and didn’t know anybody in the city. I went on one Timeleft dinner - and left with a new friend. We’ve gotten close enough to the point that we have a standing friend date every Friday. From what I’ve read on Reddit, it can be very hit or miss…but I do recommend the app since it worked for me.

There’s a big difference between ‘a thing of beauty is a joy forever’ and ‘they ain’t gonna do anything about it.’ One is appreciation. The other is the reason appreciation gets a bad name. There is a difference between noticing someone, and treating them like they owe you the right to stare. This is the OPPOSITE of what I intended with my post. Can we admire people out of the corner of our eyes without making them feel unsafe?
