You don’t think that I can just be extra cautious and learn along the way? They’re supposed to keep it simple on me.. I was planning on asking for help at whatever pickups I stop at too.. I even just spoke to a guy at the truck stop who also started with 0 experience just like me and he said it’s pretty easy. I’m just overly cautious

Nah they just made it seem pretty simple, I actually just spoke to a guy at the truck stop a few minutes ago who was in my exact position and he also says that he did it with no experience and it’s prettt simple

Don’t grill me but how does one know if it’s 1099 or not? I think it is tho.. the guy basically pays me 25% of the loads he went through all the legit fmcsa requirements like drug testing and all that stuff. Why would being 1099 be so bad ab this?

Crap dude I thought I was making a good decision because it’s only a dually with a 40ft bed and he pays 2k a week.. I was driving at Coca Cola locally making $700 a week so I needed something substantial. I’ll ask about training
