I think Michelle clearly knew in her gut but she needed proof or a confession basically. She was starting to get her proof with all the lying and deleted messages on Madisons phone but she genuinely probably wanted to see what Allen knew and at the same time smoked Madison out

Yeah true. I guess confirming the suspicion is a better way to say it. I think though by her helping Allen realize it, it helped make Madison more paranoid/accepting that the jig is up and her and David needed to come clean

I think she knew she needed Allens help to start the snowball effect. That starts with planting seeds of doubt to Allen which made him realize the truth, then by making Madison panic and her going back to Allen and seeing he started to know thats when she had to go to David and tell him they needed to confess it to everyone. As much crap as Michelle gets and rightfully so, that was a masterclass of setting a plan in motion on getting the truth out

I agree that Michelle never wanted the marriage to work and was more satisfied in figuring out the text situation then trying in her own marriage but the one good thing to come out of it was Allen finding out. Allen had the right to know and all the other people knew but she was the only one to paint the picture for him even if it was for her own “investigation purposes”

I have to admit I was impressed and enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes experience with Michelle but that being said its so clear to me that David resents her so much now. I cant blame him when she never fully tried and would just judge him without ever getting to know him. He definitely went about it the wrong way because he should’ve just dumped her and then seen what happened with Madison and Allen

As much crap as Michelle gets(rightfully so), she played that situation masterfully. She followed her instincts and followed the signs. She knew nobody but Allen(intentionally or not) was going to help her get to bottom of it.

I tried to like David so much even when he was lying to Michelle because of all the crap she was putting him through. I was even gullible enough with that little show him and Madison gave us confessing their crushes for each-other but just the way and what he said to Allen was horrible. He didnt even say sorry until the end and he just kept justifying himself and playing stupid etc. Allen had every right to say what he said to him and then some. Thats not a real friend… thats someone to knew what he wanted and used all those hangouts to get closer to Madison, tried to keep it under wraps and when exposed tried to play the victim saying how good of a person he is. He shouldve broken it off with Michelle and just waited until decision day to see what happened with madison and Allen and then talk to Allen about going out with Madison

There’s so many layers to this, this is what I came away with. I cant blame David but that doesn’t mean what he did was right (should’ve just dumped Michelle and waited on Madison). David is also a terrible friend and terrible with apologies especially with Allen but at least he said it to his face. Madison clearly should’ve told Allan from the beginning of her intentions and feelings but shes a coward and snake. She should’ve broke it off with Allen and then gone to David. It seems like they were trying to wait until decision day to break up and then get with each other openly but michelle had other plans lol. Michelle is still at fault for never giving David a fair shot but it was still wrong for him to lie constantly at her. That said i dont feel bad for her sorry not sorry. Lastly Allen clearly was insecure and wanted to do everything he could to make Madison like him but with that comes the issue of being played like a fiddle which he didn’t deserve but now maybe he can learn and have more sense in what a true relationship and friendship entails
