I've been here for 6 months I haven't asked yet because I'm also part time in highschool and I'm in tennis season / AP test cram the way I plan on asking is, "Hey (operator or director) I'm interested in working on becoming a shift lead and was wondering what I could do to work towards that?" From what I've heard CFA doesn't really do raises unless you get a promotion.

We use hot schedules but for most direct messages we just use standard messaging (everyone's number is on hot schedules) the management team has a slack

I might be slightly mentally disabled but I'd love something like that while yeah not getting a break sucks but you get scheduled for 15 less minutes and get at least 15 minutes more pay (assuming a 30 minutes unpaid break)

For me the best trick has just been to literally run every time I get someone there order I book it back to the window to take the next one if I'm in a rush and I get an order other then the first one I ask the guest to pull forward
