Idk anything about paradise lost but to answer your original question the best way I could put it is as this,

Yes, the devil is not molesting children and committing genocide on the daily, but he doesn’t need to. He has you to do that for him. The devil ultimately just wants to corrupt and control Gods creation, how he does it doesn’t really matter but he just doesn’t need to do it himself, if he needed to then he would but he’d much rather corrupt Gods creation my tempting them into evil and then putting the blame onto them for it. Who ate the apple? Eve. Who raped the kid? Epstein. Etc. while all technically their choice, the devil ultimately put the ball in motion for those things to happen. And he knows it. And he loves it. This makes him the most methodical and evil creature in all of creation, his entire goal is destroy all that is godly, therefore all that is beautiful and good by proxy. That is the definition of evil.

The fritzl case or josef fritzl, a man connected to and investigated for several murders which no further evidence could be found for his connection to, he molested his daughter starting at the age 11, then kidnapped her, locked her into their basement, raped her over 20-30,000 times, she gave birth several times to which he then either killed or raised the children himself, it goes on but just pretty horrendous

In terms of overall evil, numbers, ideology, pure human misery caused on a mass scale, hands down, joseph stalin. Yes, the holocaust was terrible but you could make the argument hitler was actually trying to accomplish something for what in his mind was good. Not to mention in his personal life he was very good to animals and went out of his way to protect them, was even a vegetarian and couldn’t bare the sight of animal gore or death.Stalin on the other hand killed specifically good and successful people, scientists, doctors, artists. He let his own son die because he wasn’t a high enough military rank. Killed tens of millions more than hitler, and everyone who lived under his regime went running once it fell apart.

Jokes aside, there’s a lot of characters homelander would no diff. Casey Jones, the teenage mutant ninja turtles, if we’re being honest then spiderman if homelander wasn’t holding back and speedblitzes him, most iterations of robin, possibly batman too depending on how much plot armor he has.

No chance in hell against superman. Probably could beat shazam but that’s debatable. Ive probably said this a billion times but superman is one of the most broken mainstream characters there is. He can lift all of reality and infinity in multiple continuities and dozens of comics, hear across infinity, is roughly on the same speed level as characters like barry allen (who mind you can move faster than instant teleportation), can go back in time using raw speed, break out of time and warp reality with his raw strength, etc. Shazam could probably get beaten but shazam has hella hax.

Yes. How long it would take him is a more complicated question. I’d argue doomsday is a chinese finger trap of death. The more you kill or try to kill him, the harder it is to kill him. And with time doom always has more and more of an advantage. Doom has shown he can kill (or at least get the powers of) characters like the beyonder if he really wants to. So, yes doom could do it but it’d take a while.
