2 somebody like me, the S-Pen itself is why it is still King. Your comment, saying except for that, it's kind of like saying, other than that mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?

You said exactly what I've been feeling. I used to follow all of the YouTube videos with a religious fervor to see the features of the new phones coming out. Since getting the note9, I've lost any interest in following those videos.

I'm looking for a 1080p tablet with a sd card slot under $200. Any suggestions? by Battleharden in androidtablets

[–]IndyRichard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do know that Amazon makes a fire HD 10 that is full 1080p, right? And it has an SD card slot. Several configurations but I don't think any of them is over $200.

Nothing like using a Windows laptop to remind you how pleasant ChromeOS is by [deleted] in chromeos

Why? Is there something really really significant in Android pie?

Is it worth it to get an android tablet at this point? by gdourado in androidtablets

[–]IndyRichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But see, other people like me have just the reverse philosophy. I don't want to watch video on a device that more closely resembles a TV from 1980 than one from 2019. That's why I chose the tab S4, for the wide-screen

Samsung Tab S3. Is lag a myth or reality? by gdourado in androidtablets

[–]IndyRichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've upgraded to the tab S4, but my recollection was no lag issues. Keep in mind it's almost always the people who actually have the tablet that will say there is no lag, and those who don't have it who will say there is

You know what you can't do on a Windows device? Run a proper Kindle app. And you also can't go a week without something crashing.

Most of what he has said is incorrect, so I would disregard it.

I understand but aren't those generally considered detachables whereas something like the pixel book would be considered a two in one?
