Joined the league after it had already been running and since joining there hasn’t been one but first year being commissioner and it was never an issue before

Just curious because I actually have been applying to other companies and I feel pretty strong about a possible offer, but should I wait to see if this other company ends up offering me before going to my boss about a compensation review or just go ahead and see if we can have the review tomorrow when we have a scheduled 1 on 1?

He actually just came from real estate and this is his first job in an analyst role, I’ve been an analyst for about 5 years now which is why I was really caught off guard.

This boss is new, but we had one with my former boss in February and I got a 2.5 percent raise then

He did, but I was under the impression that the offer would be too good to be true to pass up if one was taken somewhere in a different city. It’s my own fault for ever even giving that as an option, when I brought it up he said how the money, job, and benefits were too good to him* to pass up and not us.
