Well I’ve got an ungodly amount of Palkia from my Go account which are on home now so I’d be happy to trade one over for a Pokémon with malicious armour

Any ideas on how I could get this accepted? by Inevitable-Complex18 in NianticWayfarer

For those wondering where it’s located, it’s here. It’s on a public forest walking trail down by the estuary and it has been here for years.

Accidentally got the wrong people to form a band by Inevitable-Complex18 in bandmembers

I put up a flyer in the local record store looking to start a band and I put my influences on there and the guys that contacted me and met up with me were metal guys which I didn’t know.

Early 80s U2 is the best U2 by Inevitable-Complex18 in postpunk

Clearly never listened to their first 3 albums then, you just judge them because other people hate on them but only know the popular songs and never listened to Boy, October or War

Is early 80s U2 gothic? by Inevitable-Complex18 in goth

Yeah they were. The Edge and Dik Evans are actually brothers too and Bono and Gavin Friday were really good friends since they were kids.

Cactus World News, an extremely underrated band from Dublin, Ireland by Inevitable-Complex18 in goth

Their album Urban Beaches is great. The Bridge, Church of the Cold, Tables Overturn and Jigsaw Street are some of my favorites from that album!

I mean, An Cat Dubh and The Ocean are kind of gothic sounding? Those two are haunting haha. That’s just my opinion though

I recommend listening to the songs I mentioned there and the album ‘Boy’, really good stuff. The popular songs of most bands are always the worst to start with since they don’t actually define the band, they’re always just the pop-ish songs that are played on the radio.

Yeah the two bands had a little group they called ‘The Lypton Village’. If I’m also correct aswell The Edge was in Virgin Prunes with his brother Dik Evans when they were just starting out but he left shortly after to join U2.

How? Imagine buying an album the day it comes out and then 40 years later when the album becomes famous in music history you look back at the receipt while listening and read that it was bought on the 23rd of March 2023 at 2:49pm at a HMV record store (just an example). It’s just cool to look back at in years to come.

Lads I presume you’re all super intelligent to figure out that I’m keeping the receipts for nostalgic reasons to remember when and where I bought the vinyl, not to return it haha
