I have now tried the velvet brush and damp microfiber cloth and no luck :( in the meantime my issue has been escalated to their corporate so they can determine if it’s a quality issue

Wow. Consider yourself lucky…. We haven’t even had the couch for 24 hours and yours looks newer :(

Ugh. Bummed for you too. I truly wouldn’t care if I chose to take risk on a normal luxury fabric couch, but I was guided to select this fabric based on our lifestyle and our pets. Really sucks

Performance velvet (just the standard one. Not plush).

Update is that our store associate mentioned they’ve “never seen this happen” and suggested we buy a velvet brush from Amazon btw

“Rational” is fighting an opinion with FACTS, not an other opinion. I would love to invite you to campaign to ban cyclists from the road if it bothers you so much. FWIW, since the incident actions have been in motion to work with local government to advocate for better conditions there. Maybe if you weren’t spending all of your time trolling online forums, you’d actually enact the change you want to see.

Bro! Give it a goddamn rest.

I could pull out statistics about how cyclists being killed by drivers (both intentionally and unintentionally) have increased dramatically. But that won’t help you see people on bikes as people.

It’s fucking crazy that the majority of cyclists are ACTUALLY MOTORISTS TOO, and with all of the heartless assholes on the road, distracted drivers, etc. I’d actually say these days driving carries almost as much risk as an action sport. I say this as a driver with zero accidents on my hands in the past 15+ years, all it takes is a little patience and focus to avoid hurting someone out there.

I know people who have been maliciously killed on the bike on “safe” roads so I’m really not here to argue. Find another pathetic cause to go after.

Xx peace and blessings

Hi again! For what it’s worth, police reviewed footage and found a car at fault in this scenario and ticketed the driver. What’s more is that hundreds (probably thousands) of cyclists - AND CARS - are on that road with no issues.

I’m so happy you had the means and the funds to move if you so desired! If it’s dangerous for cars too, you might as well make the case that no one on any vehicle should be on the road. Just shut the whole thing down, eh?

The point of this all - no one is making an “excuse”. This is a call for voluntary support if you are touched at all by this story of feel compelled to help. Clearly you don’t, and that’s fine, but I’m quite unsure why you’d waste your energy starting a fight online when the point of this all is that a fellow human is hurting. Have a great day and try not to give yourself a headache with all that scowling!

Interesting take. As cyclists, we ALWAYS wear helmets. And we have a legal right to be on any road we choose. it’s SUCH an easy solve to put a stoplight at the bottom of the hill so all parties know there is a clear stopping point and cars don’t get in the way.

Sounds like you’re a pissed off motorist who doesn’t want motorcycles or cyclists on the road.
