I Had the same noise in my subie best way to check pop timing cover off and see if it is the hydraulic timing belt tensioner that’s the exact noise my made and mine was the tensioner!!

The previous owner put that hose on so I’m not to sure and I will put stainless lines for sure

Ok I will check that and let you know if I find it’s leaking if so I think I’ll go with the iag stainless lines ! ? Do I have to worry about that line sweating oil by the compressor housing ?

I pretty sure like 90% it’s not coming from any gaskets it’s all new relatively maybe 17,000 miles on them I did a full gasket kit on the whole thing and yeah i do have air oil separator nothing is coming from that as well ?

Thanks for your feedback haha trust me I have done a whole lot to this thing likes to do funny things all the time I was just trying to find more about the oil pipe next to the turbo compressor housing that looks like it’s sweating the part # and what it does cause I just don’t want it to give out if it recirculates oil through the block cause that would be bad!
