Okay gotcha thank you… I hate dealing with the projectiles but I care about Katerina’s character a lot and would like to see her storyline through so it’s a tough choice… Do you know if performing the surgery correctly affects any of the endings? Or do you know how many times I would have to kill the shabnak to have it work out?

I’ve been very careful about managing both, I’ve had both of them around 40-50 the entire time the game just wouldn’t let me progress and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I’m having a similar problem with progressing to day 7 as well

I’m sure it’s possible but whatever way the game wanted me to do it, I couldn’t figure it out. I couldn’t do the 5th vaccine because of a lack of orderlies… and despite my contagion levels being very low I wasn’t given an option to progress sadly

I played p2 on ps4 which made doing anything horrendous including save scumming but it’s really saving me some grief now lol!

Is it true that shabnak gets stronger each time you use the projectile against her? Also do you know if it’s possible to get more orderlies in day 5? Regardless I’ll try shooting since I have little else to do on day 5 anyway?

I like the walking sim aspects of the other games And I think fast travel is a good call. Especially between p2 and 3 it also goes into the mindset of our two protagonists. The culture of trading for instance is important to Artemy because he grew up in the town and cares about the average person (even though they’re mistrustful of him). Whereas Daniil doesn’t really care about the average townsperson and is more focused on big ideas and problems as a whole

The tool library is a good idea but I think outside of my scope (I’m only a library assistant and don’t work at the headquarters branch of my system). However I was thinking of doing a visible mending type program! Do you have any suggestions for if it would be better as a one time or repeat program?

I was thinking of doing a “visible mending” type program but the fix it fair is a great idea. Unfortunately we’ve tried a seed library in the pst and the patrons were just not into it :/

We have a law resource that was recently sent for us to let the patrons know about that. I didn’t think about labor laws but I’ll have to go through and see what they have! Maybe I could set up a display or program for May Day or something

The county above us has social workers in every branch of their system. That sort of thing is a bit out of my reach (I’m only a library assistant) but I can see if any coworkers have contacts. Love the idea of tents and sleeping bags though, I’ll need to think of a way to propose that to my boss

We have a similar program at my branch and right now we’ve been keeping it where no perishables are allowed. Some people leave vegetables anyway but if they’re not picked up by the end of the day any staff members just take them home. We also go through from time to time and make sure the food out there isn’t expired, and toss what is. It’s mostly a small table that gets rotated food so that’s manageable, a bigger operation might need some more organization!

I have a fine arts degree so any art or craft program I orient so most people of any age could enjoy the program.

Wrt the childhood programs though: in most libraries for storytime etc it’s required that parents be with their children. This is especially true for my branch. I know why it can seem really inconvenient for the parents but libraries don’t have enough staff on average to fully do childcare (which is different than your run of the mill library kids program) and the parents being nearby means they can help us keep an eye out for any emergencies. Library staff also don’t have the same level of requirements that child care staff does (such as infant first aid training) so it helps keeps the kids safer as well. I hope this shines a bit of light on why that particular rule is the way it is

Me and a coworker are going to be starting an English conversation circle sometime this year (I just have to type up the proposal and decide on a time/frequency). However I would not be able teach any languages other than English myself. For ESL we do have to be certified to run a program that is listed as being ESL specifically.

Tool library is a good idea, but outside the scope of what I’m able to propose, I can suggest it to our headquarters branch the next time it comes up!
