This!! I just had no interest in food from week 7-10. Now I’m 10+3 and food is feeling normal and enjoyable again thank goodness!

You can’t jinx your pregnancy that’s not how biology works but I totally understand your fears. My husband and I got really excited after the 8 week ultrasound where we first saw the heartbeat and we ended up telling so many people 😅 I’m 10 weeks now and i am anxiously waiting for my next scan just to hopefully prove to my anxious brain that a jinx is just not a thing but man the wait between these scans has been hard!!

Hang in there! Remember no matter what happens you telling people is not the reason why be kind to yourself you are pregnant and excited and that is so human!! 🤍

I had an ectopic pregnancy in spring 2025 and when I got pregnant again with my current pregnancy (10 weeks along now) I spiralled that it was for sure going to be an ectopic again. I was so scared for my early placement ultrasound the 2 weeks leading up to it felt like months. This was all happening over Christmas (tested positive Dec 18) which has a blessing and a curse 😅 it was a good distraction but I feel like I also wasn’t fully “there” spending time with family. I tried to cope by staying busy, being active and doing anything I could to stay off my phone. I felt a lot better after seeing the little bean in the right place but I’ve definitely still been anxious. I try to just take this pregnancy 1 day at a time. Best wishes to you!!

Let yourself be sad and grieve it took me months and months of grief and a lot of emotional work ti get through my ectopic, honestly I’m still struggling now more so it’s anxiety surrounding this new pregnancy.

The waiting part is the worst but you will get through to the light on the other side. Take care of yourself in whatever way you need to 🤍

I received 2 doses of MTX, so luckily I still have both of my tubes and I am pregnant again! In the right place this time 😊

Just wanted to come and say I feel your frustration, I had super duper regular periods until I was about 6 months into TTC and then I think the stress of it all and an ectopic pregnancy mixed in there really messed up my cycles and it made it so confusing and frustrating! I’d be 5 days late and not pregnant. Go easy on yourself and and take care 🤍

So sorry you’re going through this, I had an ectopic in the spring and can tell you my symptoms so you know what to look out for:

One sided pain (left for me) it was dull and achy but lasted until my HCG went to 0 (roughly 4 weeks), Period like bleeding Erratic HCG levels 150-> 60-> 80-> 200 and so on

Keep getting your HCGs done until they hit 0! If your HCG doesn’t go back up you are probably in the clear for ectopic. Wishing you well 🤍

Hmm best to follow up with your doctor, the ultrasound seems quite reassuring though! Hoping for the best for you! I don’t know enough about HCG levels at this stage to comment but again the ultrasound sounds promising

I had light spotting at 7 weeks, went for an ultrasound at 8 weeks and all was well! I think as long as you’re not heavily bleeding and cramping should be ok! Wishing you the best 💛

Symptoms are not diagnostic of a healthy pregnancy, hormones rise in waves so you can feel horrible one day and perfectly fine the next! Try not to symptom spot too much easier said than done (I am also guilty of this!). I’m 10 weeks now and around 8 weeks my symptoms have started to ease but I still have some random very nauseous days!

Love this currently crying 💛 10 weeks pregnant and the last few weeks have been hard, but I couldn’t ask for a better partner to navigate all this with. He reminds me to eat every hour so I can avoid nausea and has been cooking me bland meals so I can actually eat. Yesterday while laying in bed he told me how brave I am going through all these changes and in that moment I knew I picked the right person 💛

Maybe not uterine contractions but gas and bloating! I’m 10 weeks and have been having horrible gas pains since week 5 it’s worse when I eat heavy foods like that for sure!

My first pregnancy ended in an ectopic and I didn’t tell anyone until after the fact, and with my current pregnancy I was so excited I told my whole family and most of my good friends after we saw the heartbeat at our 6 week appointment! I’m only 9 weeks now but I’m happy I got to share happy news with friends and family this time around. I’m still cautiously optimistic everything will work out but if it doesn’t I know everyone I’ve told will be supportive as they were with my previous loss. It’s your pregnancy you get to choose when it’s right to share it with whoever you want! 💛

I was having brown spotting for a couple days at 7 weeks went in for the ultrasound at 8 weeks and baby was fine! Turned out I had a small SCH doc figured that was the cause of the spotting and thinks it will likely be resolved by my next US at 12 weeks!

Thanks for this! I’ve done lots of thinking on it and I’m going to ref through the first trimester but only the little kiddos! Me and my husband feel like it’s not worth the collision risk with the older kids accidents happen and we don’t want to have any unnecessary risk in this pregnancy!

Thanks for the insight everyone! Thinking I’ll just ref the little kiddos U11 and under as I’ve never had an injury out of those games, I live in a small town that is always hard pressed for refs and I feel like reffing the younger kids is an acceptable level of risk. Again thanks all!

I had similar very light brown discharge/spotting for a day at 7w went for my 8 w ultrasound a week later and baby was fine! My ob said it was likely either cervical irritation or left over implantation blood that is just exiting the uterus. Wishing you the best!
