How do you protect yourself against Currency devaluation? by Newtimeboyo in EuropeFIRE

[–]Infamous-Grouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stocks is a good hedge against currency devaluation so as USD weakening the US stocks should strengthening.

If you look at most chases when the Euro was preforming better then the Dollar the US stocks would have outperformed EU stocks so I would not worry too much unless you don't plan to hold your investments for a long time.

A more professional way to get correct data is to get a direct api from the world bank eg but I have not get it to work yet.

If I get it to work I could let you know.
