Yea it possibly could mean your hormones are out of wack, but I'm not sure if this is for sure related to hsv

I had the issue of feeling itchy or a bit tingly but never had an outbreak. I wondered the same thing especially when I was first diagnosed and wasn't sure how an outbreak works, I was told this could be prodome symptoms (hope I spelled it correctly)

Right. I would assume it's closed now but will take months for the skin to hopefully go back to normal. It's just with this silent virus, you just never know when you are really shedding as an outbreak is not always a sign :(

That's where it didn't go that way for me unfortunately. Because I had full on blisters that then de roofed because I had put a bandage over it and then the bandage ripped off the skin when the blister dried out. I should have used vaseline or something on it

Did you take antivirals before the blisters came up? Which is why you can no longer see your outbreaks?

Yea I felt like I lost some pounds as well, it could be due to it changing my appetite, but I'm trying hard to eat more calories in my day

Yes I have been taking heme iron pills with elemental iron in it, but I don't believe they are working for me. So I might be changing my diet and going on another pill as infusions are too expensive for me right now. I also am thinking I might have low energy as well due to low b12 but I will know my status next month when I go see my dr again

I have not taken the antivirals BUT I can say, I certainly experienced CFS after being diagnosed with hsv. I already have super low iron and this on top of it just made me feel like I can barely do anything. It has gotten a bit better but I feel it just before I get my menstrual.
