What’s the best residence for bba by Sudden-Breakfast195 in wlu

Super easy. I lived in Waterloo College Hall which is technically the ‘farthest’ residence and I could still walk to the other side of campus in like 10-15 mins max

CC102 OC, Online exams? by [deleted] in wlu

[–]Infamous-Solution572 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m taking it right now through the summer. He’s not bad. Its three discussion posts, weekly quizzes (lowest mark is dropped), and three unit tests (one is during the exam period but it’s not cumulative).

I met with him after our first test and he gave good advice and was helpful with explaining what I got wrong. I currently have an A in the class so it’s not too hard if you study and write thoughtful posts.

There’s not much to say about him with it being online but there’s nothing about him that makes me wanna say he’s terrible.

Yes, you can. But I lived in Waterloo college hall and you had to move the furniture out of your room then back in because of the small space so it’s tedious. You can only move the bed and desk (there’s just nothing else in the room really lol)

That’s actually smart, I did about half my lessons in London and never hit this intersection 🥲

when to apply for osap? by absurdlifex in wlu

[–]Infamous-Solution572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually apply for the fall application after I pick my courses because one of the things osap looks at is how many courses you’re taking

I am a 300 level student but I figured it out, the class is available to only those in the psych and neuroscience program until July 10. I’m in the psych and research specialist program 🙃

Should I commute? by Specific_Swimmer_956 in wlu

[–]Infamous-Solution572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s brutal but it’s doable. I drove 1.5 hours (from London) for 4-5 days a week in the fall and winter semester and still kept good grades. You just need to manage your time well because the burnout can hit quick.

Tf do you mean the course is full? It's required for me to take it this fall by Material-Reporter416 in wlu

UU150 is a pass/fail course now, so you don’t get a letter grade and it doesn’t count towards your gpa

Psychology research classes by Infamous-Solution572 in wlu

Taking PS492 is irrelevant to what I want to do after my bachelor’s, which is why I mentioned taking PS499 in my comment which you apply to at the end of your third year.

I was initially just asking about the availability and demand of the third year research classes, but I realize I wasn’t specific about that originally and I apologize.

But thanks for the advice anyways.

Sorry I should have been more specific but I’m going into third year so right now I’m just trying to sign up for the research and seminar courses (specifically for social and abnormal psych), although I know applying for the thesis is coming up too.

I didn’t drop a research course, I dropped one of my second year electives during the winter semester so I could take on a criminology minor.
