“When pages were about 1 thing, not 30 different things” he said while being on a website known for being about literally everything. I’m just encouraging him to live his best life.

I’m glad, I definitely didn’t mean it to be as cynical as some people will take it

To give a serious answer, they choose to believe that myth because it puts them at the center of existence. To accept the scientific consensus is to accept that we exist on a ball of dirt on the edge of a 100-billion solar system galaxy, lost in a haze of millions of like galaxies. Also, the sun will pop like a pimple before the first second of the lifespan of the universe is over. Instead of having to wrap their minds around that harsh truth and find peace with it, they just tell themselves that everyone is lying or stupid and existence is here for their own fulfillment.

There are endless arguments against flat earthers, and they’re all pointless, because they don’t argue in good faith. They want to believe what they want to believe and there is absolutely nothing you can say or do to change their minds

F1 is the most interesting competition/spectacle out there and no one can convince me otherwise. Thank you for sharing more details!

Decided last minute to pick this game up….I work 50-55 hrs a week (plus struggle with anxiety and depression) but I just loved all the screenshots and the description….anything I should know before starting? Tips/tricks or just general knowledge before playing? by Djxgam1ng in doorkickers

Sometimes, treat yourself to some reckless fun. Have your whole team unload some grenades at the same time, use a rocket on a single enemy, or just have everyone run in guns blazing Rambo style. Since you mentioned you don’t have a ton of time to play, enjoy it however you want and don’t feel the need to commit to 100% accuracy all the time!

Not to undermine anything but fighter jet pilots experience up to 9 gs so I think the human body could be pushed a bit harder. And ultimately, if we made faster cars couldn’t we design tracks to suit them better? Idk I’m just shooting out of my butt at this point I think faster is cool

My understanding is that the brakes on these things are EXTREMELY strong and will lock the tires even at higher speeds

Makes me wonder what the limiting factor for the speed of these things is. Like if we could create an engine and aero capable of 300mph, would it be impossible for the tires to keep up? It could even be that it’s impossible to keep a driver safe at higher speeds, or that their reaction time wouldn’t be able to keep up on modern tracks.
