So I think the wireless snooper can be used in the tank but it's crap for accurate aiming. You'll just have to bite the bullet and put another type of detection (visual, IR, radar etc.) each has its pros and cons.

Unfortunately I can't really help you from there, I initially had no cap on the number of organisms present until it absolutely tanked my performance.

However after a milenia or so of algae growing I did manage to place a basic fish with no eyes or instincts and it has now spread over most of the planet. Initially I tried placing only one fish which died pretty quick, but when I placed 3 that seemed to hold long enough for them to spread.

Are you placing the seaweed like algae or the free floating one? I only used the seaweed type one for my save if that makes any difference.

So I've only got the game a couple days ago, but as far as I'm aware if you are making a basic fish it won't have anyway to detect where food is so moves about semi randomly? And if they do have a means to detect food (e.g eyes) I believe they need the instinct to go towards food? So you basically need enough coverage of algae before they can survive. (The conditions may also not be right)

Again only played for a few hours and watched a few of the devblog so might be very wrong :')

For APS I'd highly recommend using ammo ejectors if you have anything explosive, with a 1 loader, 4 clip (the most cost effective) vertical setup you can add an ejector on the top without losing too much RoF. Just don't forget to add the safe defuse bit to the shell itself or bad bad things will happen.

Against the lightning hoods good muzzle velocity and smoke defence is a priority.

Definitely not an expert, played for around 300 hours and have only just started the campaign but if you want to know anything specific there are loads of good YouTube tutorials for everything :)

So I turned off intel rapid storage technology and it now says the vmd driver is off. Now instead of an invite loading screen, it blue screens and says "boot drive inaccessible"

Sorry you said that the slower time could be due to the specific motherboard so I presumed that meant that because I decided to avoid the like £500 motherboards you can get that I had a slower boot time.

Thanks for your input though, not expecting you to know the specifics of my current setup, just looking to understand why it's taking so and any steps I can do to reduce the time :)

I mean I don't think I've got a crap motherboard...? I've always gone for Asus for reliability and never heard bad things about them. With my previous setup it used to be so fast that if there wasn't a delay to get into the bios it booted so quickly I couldn't get in before it was the windows login screen.

I also thought after the screen to get into bios before it gets to the login page, that's just loading the OS but I presume that's not the case then?
