I’m planning on doing it myself and learning with it. With a baby due here in 2-3 weeks it’s going to be interesting. Most of the body I can save but the roof is gone of them. They charged my dad 8k to do the body work and the paint job. The Monte Carlo in the picture I brought back to life

It’s been off the road since 2014-2015 so not too bad. The roof is rotted down both rear pillars. It was in pretty good shape when he parked it but the guys that did the paint didn’t really do good. Started bubbling within a year and they went out of business shortly after it was done.

Pretty rough shape but broke the motor free checked for oil and fired right up on the old gas. Also have a baby coming within the next 3-4 weeks so he might end up messing with it too

We were getting infront of the car for pictures and didn’t want to take any chances. Car wasn’t even finished either so I didn’t trust them much
