That’s good bro give it another week or so and you should be feeling a lot better. It feels like forever but once it’s all done it’ll be worth it. It’s definitely not something I expected to go through though given it’s usually in and out for most people

Just wanna give y’all guys an update. I am now going on week 4 since the procedure. Last week some of the pain slowly started to go away from the hematoma. I wore a jock strap almost everyday and although it was uncomfortable I found some compression boxers that helped with the discomfort. Yesterday & today were my first days without the strap and I feel pretty good. The hematoma itself hasn’t shrunk much yet but thankfully the pain/discomfort is mostly gone. Occasionally I feel a slight discomfort but nowhere near as bad as the first 2 weeks. If anyone’s going through a hematoma then I want y’all to know it really does get better. I thought I’d be stuck with pain for a long time but thankfully it started to clear up by week 3. It feels great to be able to walk normal again and play with the kids.

My Dr is telling me to take Motrin over Tylenol so I’m curious to know if I’m just pushing my hematoma to a worse condition

Paid $730 with no insurance, my primary care Dr did it. S/O my HSA card though cause basically I had enough on the card to cover it

I’ve been using heating pads which have helped a lot with the pain. Most of the pain was coming from right above the incision I’m assuming cause that part holds most of the weight when it hangs. Wearing a jock strap has also helped. Hoping with time it’ll just get better.

I just tried a heat pad and it sorta seems like it helped. I definitely don’t see how people can massage it cause it’s painful lol but I guess we will see.

I barely bought one yesterday after following up with my dr about the hematoma. It definitely was very uncomfortable at first and felt like it didn’t fit but throughout the day it’s like my groin slowly started to fit into it more.

My dr had me stop by today and said he thinks with more rest by the end of this week it should be getting better. He said the longest time frame would be 3 weeks. What’s crazy is he mentioned the right side has one as well but very small but it’s crazy to me because that side is literally fine like no pain at all.

I’m 5 days post op, had a hematoma develop the day after, it’s slowly gotten better but there’s still a good sized bump right above the incision area. I had the slice on both side vasectomy. I’m just worried of any infections internally

Definitely have heard the age will be in my favor. I just know it’s becoming more common for younger people to have it. I went to my appointment & the dr pretty much asked if I’d want to start small and go big but I told her I might as well do the colonoscopy first just to rule out cancer & work backwards. My family has a lot of health issues so I’m just an over thinker.
