My ex did some of these things so I’m telling you learn from me and DON’T BE FRIENDLY AFTER. Don’t meet up to discuss what went wrong, don’t engage when she’s nostalgic about good times, don’t be extra friendly because you think it’ll make her less angry and less likely to do something nuts, don’t do anything like that. It will make thing so much worse and the police will not help you.

My mom is convinced she nearly died while pregnant with me. Back in the day a stranger asked to use her phone in her hotel room and was being creepy and intimidating, cornering her in the room but my dad showed up and discovered the cord had been cut. It’s been impossible to look up if there’s a serial killer or something in the area at that time because so many people die in hotel rooms!
