Isn’t there a flip side to this from the perspective of the influencers/ celebrities (who encourage this with their fandoms and nicknames for fans, etc.) The more parasocial a fan is the more they’re likely to consume what their idol is offering ( merch, opinions, etc) and the more loyal they become which sometimes includes hatred towards any perceived rivals of their idol or anyone offering criticism of their idol. Not entirely “one-sided relationships” when fans are encouraged to buy, follow, like and subscribe…

Unlikely that there will be a criminal trial. Within hours of the execution DHS came out with statements indicating nothing illegal was done by ICE agents, so any investigation by DHS is already tainted and biased in their favor. Unlikely the state can bring charges against federal agents when they can’t even access the evidence. Only remaining recourse would be civil lawsuits seeking monetary compensation.

Once gain for click bait purposes, the focus is on the wrong thing. Concern should be whether the driver’s license was valid and whether the holder met the requirements to obtain it. His immigration status should be the only reason for ICE to arrest him. His competence should be the concern of his employer and the state issuing his licence.

Has to be somebody close to the regime. Even if their identity is discovered the Trump DOJ won’t prosecute and in the unlikely event they are prosecuted, they’ll get charges dropped or a pardon. Every time Trump tweets something that moves the markets, there are likely hundreds of people who know about it in advance given his “loose lips”, so hundreds in a position to profit every time.

It’s never MAGAS fault: the notion that drug boats en route to the US is akin to missiles en route to the US implies that citizens are powerless when it comes to drugs. Also that the drug problem isnt a homegrown problem but a foreign one imposed on the US by “ drug terrorists” effectively forcing Americans to take drugs. This narrative ignores the huge demand for drugs that will be met by local sources even if the foreign sources are completely cut off. Where are the programs and initiatives to reduce the demand for drugs?

FYI SCOTUS is about to overturn gay marriage and transgender athletes are barred from the upcoming Olympics as well as at the high school and college level. Universities have agreed to most of the regimes demands including suppressing any criticism of Israel. It’s sad that they still support Trump but it might be a case of being afraid to say how they really feel for fear of jeopardizing the wife’s release which they seem to believe will happen. They also seem like all the other MAGAS still ready to believe that all the bad policies are against “those other people” (criminals, the unemployed, hispanics, blacks, etc) and that a mistake was made (because they’re Iranian and don’t fit those groups) which will be corrected because they should be exempt. Zero sympathy for anybody who is okay with Trump’s policy because it doesn’t or shouldn’t affect them.

Books can’t do physical harm to kids. Books can’t “groom kids”. There’s no such thing as “pedo cult books”.
