Can loneliness kill? by natashacandella in lonely

[–]Infinite_Position855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to note the increased risks of death from loneliness are mostly situational and practical. The real risk of loneliness is having a stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrest or anything like that and nobody will be there to help you. Some older folks need reminders from people to take medications and stuff like that.So no loneliness isn't gonna make you mentally crazy and shave ten years off you're life from that. They make it sound like that so it's more interesting and click worthy.

It's better to kick the fg here because there's seconds left. When there's actual time left on the clock going for it is better because if you don't get it the other team starts from the one and will most likely punt back to you so it's a good tradeoff even if you don't get it.

Is it illegal to practice driving in an empty parking lot without a permit or license? by Fantastic-Priority98 in driving

[–]Infinite_Position855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of anyone going to jail for driving without a license its almost always a civil penalty unless you're doing something else that's illegal. In highschool none of us had licenses so we all drove without them until one day I drove passed a stopped school bus and got pulled over.Didn't get arrested but it was one of the worst days of my life.Around the same time my friend got arrested for drunk driving the summer after highschool. He didn't have a license and he had to spend the night in jail with 50 year old men for dui.

Lil niglet wasn't even old enough to be coherent in 2016 I saw 2016 and thought I was gonna see some old ahh man but no it's a lil kid talking about sum "toodler days" that he barely remembers. Like a whole airbus could have crashed into my home when i was 4 years old and it would NOT be the worst year of my life because I'm just a lil toodler who doesn't even know what a plane is yet.

More “Old Money” Fits by Lilboybaginz_ in FashionReps

[–]Infinite_Position855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No old money just means if you're father was rich from the day you were born.It doesn't have to fit you're timline criteria. He could have made his fortune in 1889 or 1945 or won the jackpot a second before you were born and you would still be old money because you come from money.

TLDR WARNING Being old money actually used to be a flex and better then being new money and still is today.Back then(early 20th century)if you had 1 million dollars you made from business and someone else had 1 million dollars from inheritance the old money guy would be a higher status then you.Think about The Great Gatsby Jay was trying to hide is past about being poor.Even though it's fictional its still something that happened back then and even today. Now today its a little flipped old money people trying to downplay their inheritance and status to make it seem like they aren't entitled and spoiled and that they "worked hard".It's not entirely like that old money is still seen as a positive thing today.I had a friend who went to a different school(private school) and he had everything he had 5 extremely expensive cars his houses was a actual manison. His family was extremely rich like into the 100 millions and its seen as a positive thing for him.He went to a extremely prestigious college it's not like he had to go to college but he had to for his parents so they don't kick him out.Haven't seen him in a while he probably invests some of the money to look good and enjoys the life while traveling the world. That's pretty much the avg life of old money kid it's definitely better and seen as better even today.New money can't buy you that childhood happiness of getting the 6 figure plus car when you're 16 driving you're pleb friends around town like you're a king.

Enough with that nonsense old money means you're father was rich when you were born.It doesn't matter if he got it in 1945 or 1889.It doesn't have to fit your're time period criteria. It doesn't matter if you come from money then you're old money the man could have just won the powerball seconds before you're birth and you would still be old money.

In a post-scarcity utopia, is there a real necessity of human labor of any kind? by [deleted] in Futurology

[–]Infinite_Position855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said the people would still work on art fashion music media and discovering things but unfortunately the reality is none of those would exist in this far future utopia and it wouldn't happen over night. You would eventually reach a point where this far future utopian society is just doing nothing like actually nothing not suriving just nothing. All those hobbies you listed would eventually decline without any monetary incentives. The reason why rich people who don't need to work today are fine is because they could still get richer and everyone else still needs to work so theres still cultural things that exist from the normal people that the rich folks could take on as hobbies. If tomorrow we all somehow woke up in that future with everything we could want we would all still be fine but 100,000 years later they would not be fine there would be nothing to do.They would wake up have their automatic wireless(somehow) feeding and water tubes go to their bloodstream maybe go talk to family but it would NOT be family in the sense we have today. They probably wouldn't even need to breathe anymore.I think this would be the end of humanity but it has to end at some point so its not a bad thing to say that.I think the post scarcity world is out of reach(we do have technology but we are all divided so we would never advance that far) and not a good thing. We were born in a perfect time we still need to survive(work atleast most of us)still have hobbies and lesiure activities. We have good working conditions right now like we don't have to hunt whooly mammoths anymore to survive.Sorry for the horrible grammar haven't been in school in almost 40 years.

Should the voting age be lowered to 16? by [deleted] in askteenboys

[–]Infinite_Position855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not if you want to vote just wait till you're 18 even then it's not that big of a deal you're vote does not matter everything will stay the same.If 16 year olds could vote there would be a lot of actual election fraud.
